Senior railway official, Ganga Ram Agarwal appointed as the new Secretary of Railway Board. He replaced PC Gajbhiye as Gajbhaiye attained the age of superannuation , according to Railway Ministry.
Ganga Ram, who has worked in different capacities in railways and has wide experience of handling suburban operation as also handling major projects including completion of DC to AC conversion of critical section up to Mumbai CST.
Ganga Ram, who is an officer of IRSEE, was working as Chief Electrical Engineer(CEE) in Central Railway prior to this posting.
