Currently 4 secretary-level posts are vacant whereas the fifth one is going to fall vacant soon by the end of this month.
The four Secretary-level posts that are on offer include the department of Health & Family Welfare, Border Management, Defence Production and Ex-Servicemen Welfare.
According to the Sources, the reshuffle is possibly going to address the Secretary-level vacancies arising up to February end. This would create a sizeable space for the officers of 1992 batch who are waiting for their turn to Secretary-level posting.
