One IPS and three other top cops have been promoted to DIG Rank in the Central Bureau of Investigation.
As per a recently issued directive by the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet, names of four police officers have been mandated for an elevation to the rank of DIG in the Central Bureau of Investigation. Among the chosen four top cops the names include IPS Shivani Tewari, Manjunath Singe, Pravinder Singh and Murli Rambha.
These officers at present are serving as Superintendents of Police (SP) in the CBI. Now with the new order they assume charge of the post of DIG, CBI with a tenure for each officer specified for them or until further orders.
