As many as four IPS officers of batch 1986 have been empanelled for the Joint Secretary or equivalent in the Govt of India. Accordingly,

2. K. N. Tiwari (Madhya Pradesh cadre)

4. V. H. Rao Deshmukh  (Jharkhand cadre)
