Four IPS officers of 1984 batch are enlisted to appoint as ADG in Govt of India. The name of the officers are:
- Arvind Kumar of Assam & Meghalaya cadre. He is presently serving with Intelligence Bureau at centre.
- Y C Modi of Assam & Meghalaya cadre, who is presently serving in Assam as ADG, Law & order.
- S S Deswal of Haryana cadre, who is presently serving in the state as DGP, Crime.
- Arun Kumar Sinha of Kerala cadre.
