Arrested by the CBI in the multi-crore rupee Saradha scam, Trinamool Congress leader and former IPS officer Rajat Majumdar was on Thursday sent to five days custody of the agency by a court here.
Majumdar, who was hospitalized after he complained of chest pain immediately after his on Tuesday arrest, was presented before a city court after being discharged by the state-run NRS Medical College and Hospital earlier in the day.
