Meghalaya Cabinet has appointed former IPS officer to Human Rights Commission in the state.
Recently, the State Cabinet of Meghalaya has given approval to the appointment of ex-IPS officer H Nongpluh. He has been now posted as a non-judicial member of the Meghalaya Human Rights Commission (MHRC).
Mr K Sangma, CM of Meghalaya has announced that the selection committee proposed Nongpluh’s name after the retirement of a previous member.
