Reliance Industries has appointed ex-bureaucrat Maheswar Sahu as an independent director on its board.Sahu has had a distinguished career and was additional chief secretary for industries and mining with Gujarat , apart from having a decade-old stint at the Centre with the industry and infrastructure departments and three years with the UN.
