Five IPS officers have been appointed as ADG in the BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB & BPR&D.
Following an important development prior to 2024 Lok Sabha elections, a total five senior IPS officers have received promotion and now they have been elevated from Inspector General rank to Additional Director General in various central paramilitary forces including CISF, SSB, BSF, CRPF and BPR&D.
The name of the officers promoted include Satish Shriramaji Khandare (IPS: 1995: AGMUT), Padmakar S Ranipse (IPS: 1995: OD), Rajesh Kumar (IPS: 1995: AGMUT), Ravi Joseph Lokku (IPS: 1995: UP) and Tsewang Namgiyal Kalon (IPS: 1995: UP).
