IRS (IT) officers belonging to 1992, 1993 & 1994 batch have reached the Appointment Committee of Cabinet. DPC had taken place on June 06 this year for 205 posts of Commissioner, Income Tax. 205 IRS (IT) officers would get the rank of Commissioner, Income Tax the month of August. Reportedly, it would cover the 1994 batch partly only.
