The Inspector General of Police, CRPF has been granted an extension of deputation tenure.
As per a recently issued directive by the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet, name of IPS Gyanendra Kumar Verma has been mandated for an extension in his deputation tenure.
After the approval to the the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs, a year 2001 batch IPS officer Gyanendra Kumar Verma will continue serving as the IG, CRPF for a period of two years beyond 26.01.2025 in relaxation of the IPS Tenure Policy.
