The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the extension in the tenure of IFoS officer Bharat Lal. Hailing from Gujarat cadre Bharat Lal is a year 1988 batch senior IFoS officer
A retired IFoS officer Bharat Lal was currently serving on the position of Secretary General, National Human Rights Commission in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India. With the extension he will continue serving on contract basis for a period of one year beyond 30.06.2024 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, on usual terms and conditions.
