IAS Shantmanu has been allowed extension in central deputation tenure. Now he continues for one more year.
In a recent notification issued by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, it has been mandated that approval should be given to IAS Shantmanu in his central deputation tenure.
A year 1991 batch IAS officer Shantmanu hails from the AGMUT cadre and is currently serving as Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution.
Thus, with the new order IAS Shantmanu is going to serve on the post for a period of one year beyond 14.05.2024 i.e. up to 14.05.2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
