The CSS Forum has written to the PMO for expediting new post creation in Central Secretariat.
The CSS Forum is an umbrella organization of all Central Secretariat Services (CSS) Cadre officer. The Forum is willing to aspire for a promising career prospects and morale for the Cadre. It has written to Prime Minister Office (PMO) with a request for expeditious submission and implementation of Cadre Review Report.
Requesting an audience with the Prime Minister, the Forum seeks to brief him about their cause.
The Cadre Review Committee (CRC) has been constituted by the Central Government on October 27, 2022. This was done in order to assess the requirement of additional manpower keeping in sight large number of new developmental projects and schemes.
In its letter, the CSS Forum has also sought requirement of additional manpower from different ministries/department. The committee, in this regard has also completed its deliberation long back, still has not been submitted.
Early submission of the CRC Report certainly will help in reducing stagnation at certain grades and this is where officers stagnate for years in spite of having eligibility for promotion due to non-availability of vacancie, says the Forum.
