Ex Director General of Police of UP has been appointed as the CIC in the state. Simultaneously ten ICs have also been appointed too.
As per the recent directive of the state administration of Uttar Pradesh, Former director general of police (DGP) Rajkumar Vishwakarma has been appointed as the new Chief Information Commissioner of the state.
Apart from assigning the responsibility of CIC to Rajkumar Vishwakarma, the state government has also appointed ten Information Commissioners to support the state administration.
