The Election Commission has started transferring top officials in view of the 16 May Assembly elections in the State. Amit Kumar Singh, Superintendent of Police, Crime Branch CID -III, South Zone Chennai, has been transferred as Superintendent of Police, Salem.V Sasi Mohan, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Crime and Traffic in Salem, is now posted as Superintendent of Police in Namakkal.
