DRDO has launched the first batch of anti Covid drug 2DG

Today, Union Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh and Union Health Minister, Dr. Harsh Vardan released the first batch of anti-Covid drug 2DG developed by Defence Research and Development Organization(DRDO). The Drugs Controller General of India (DGCI) has approved the oral drug for emergency in moderate to severe patients of Covid-19 on 8 May 2021.
