Dr Sanjay Behar was currently serving Director of Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram.
The New Delhi establishment has recently through an issued directive mandated various individuals to posts of the Autonomous Boards and the National Medical Commission (NMC). These appointments have been mandated with a tenure of four years until the appointee attains the age of 70 years.
