The 1982 batch IAS officer of Gujarat cadre, Dr. Amarjit Singh, currently posted as Special Secretary in the Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation has been appointed as Officer on Special Duty in the Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, with immediate effect. The officer would take over as Secretary, Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation,on superannuation of the present incumbent Shri Shashi Shekhar.
