The 1984 batch IPS officer of UP cadre, Dr. A. P. Maheshwari, who is presently working as Special Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs has been appointed to the post of Director General, Central Reserve Police Force(CRPF) from the date of joining upto 28 Feb 2021.
