The IAS officers who are working in UP can apply for various positions under CSS ( central stafffing scheme) DOPT has written a lettter to Chief secretary Mr. Rahul Bhatnagar regarding this matter. Ofiicers can apply for Joint Secretary, Director and deputy secretary posts under this scheme. The Centre has also asked UP chief secretary to send more and more recommendations for deputy secretary and director level positions because many posts are lying vacant.
