Retired IAS Officer has donated seven Kilogram gold to Ayodhya’s Ram Temple on this Navratri.
This is an epitome of devotion from a devotee of Goddess Durga. This Navratri, he has marked the occasion by donating 7kg gold to the newly built Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
This is a retired IAS officer, Subramanian Lakshminarayanan. He is a year 1970-batch Madhya Pradesh cadre officer who has also donated his entire savings to Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
A copy of the ‘Ramcharit Manas,’ weighing about 151 kilograms and costing Rs. 5 crore, has been prepared out of his donation with devotion also.
Each page of the replica is going to be 14×12 inches in size which will be made of copper and inscribed with verses from Ram Charit Manas. Each page of this epic, comprises of 10,902 verses. This is going to have a 24-carat gold-plating.
