IFS officer Dinkar Asthana has been assigned new administrative appointment representing India.
As per the recent appointments & recommendations (GoI) on March 27, 2024, Indian Foreign Services officers Dinkar Asthana has been assigned new administrative appointment in Gambia.
In accordance with the notifications of appointments and recommendations issued on Wednesday, year 1990 batch of IFS officer Dinkar Asthana has been concurrently accredited as the next Indian High Commissioner to the Republic of Gambia. Asthana is at present serving as the Ambassador of India to the Republic of Senegal.
Dinkar Asthana is expected to assume office shortly.
