Senior IAS Officer Dinesh T Waghmare has taken charge as Maharashtra State Election Commissioner.
As per a recently issued directive by the competent authority, name of Senior IAS Officer Dinesh T Waghmare has been mandated for the position of Maharashtra State Election Commissioner.
A year 1994 batch senior IAS Waghmare now will serve a non-renewable five-year term, with his tenure beginning from the date he officially assumes office.
