IAS Dhirendra Ojha has been appointed as new DG (M&C) whereas IAS Sheyphali Sharan has been removed from her current position.
Following a notification from the competent authority, the government has reshuffled IAS Sheyphali B Sharan bringing in the DG level officer Dhirendra Ojha who now has been entrusted with the charge of Principal DG (M&C), PIB.
With the new order the government has reshuffled seven Indian Information Service (IIS) officers including the officer in-charge of media and communication. Interestingly DG level officer Dhirendra Ojha has been appointed as DG (Media & Communication), PIB, New Delhi and will be serving as Principal DG (M&C), PIB, New Delhi.
