IAS officer Dharmendra Sharma has been appointed as Director General, India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management.

As per a recent notification from Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions), Department of Personnel and Training, IAS officer Dharmendra Sharma has been posted as DG, India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management.

Sharma’s posting is in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary to the Government of India on contract basis for a period of six months beyond September 30, 2024. He will be working on the post up to 31.03.2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
