IAS officers Deepak Kumar Singh and Anand Kishore have been entrusted new responsibilities in the state of Bihar.
Prior to the Lok Sabha elections, the Nitish Kumar led Bihar government has issued a directive which mandates a substantial bureaucratic shake-up in the state. A total number of fifteen IAS and eight IPS officers stand transferred with new postings.
Following a directive issued by the General Administration Department, Bihar, many bureaucrats including the District Magistrates of Jehanabad, Katihar, and Sitamarhi, are included in the transfer list.
IAS Anand Kishore has been assigned responsibility of Housing & Urban Development as the Principal Secretary.
On the other hand, IAS Deepak Kumar Singh (1992 batch) has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary in the Revenue and Land Reforms Department, Bihar.
