IPS officer Debasish Dhar has resigned citing personal issues in the state of West Bengal.
Recently, his suspension was withdrawn and he was posted as Officer on Compulsory Waiting (OCW)
A promotee IPS officer of 2010 batch of West Bengal cadre, Mr. Debasish Dhar, has submitted his resignation.
Rajeev Dhar’s suspension recently was withdrawn and he subsequently was posted as Officer on Compulsory Waiting (OCW).
IPS Debasish Dhar has resigned citing personal issues in the state of West Bengal. He was serving as the SP Cooch Behar, during the Assembly polls in the year 2021.
While Dhar was serving as SP in Cooch Behar, an incident of firing had taken place at Sitalkuchi by Central Force jawans leading to the death of 4 people close to a polling booth.
Following the incident Dhar was removed from the post of SP and got suspended also.
