The 1982 batch IAS officer of Haryana cadre, D. S> Dhesi is all set to be appointed as new Chief Secretary of Haryana as the centre has prematurely repatriated him from the central deputation. He is currently additional secretary in the ministry of commerce and also holding additional charge of chairman-cum-managing director (CMD) of Metals and Minerals Trading Corporation of India Ltd (MMTC).
