The 1979 batch IPS officer of Meghalaya-Tripura cadre, D P Sinha joins the race for the next IB Chief. He seems to be strong contender, Sinha is also Special Director in IB. If he misses the bus he may be appointed R&AW Chief or Secretary Security.
