West Bengal Cadre IPS officers Annappa E and Awadhesh Pathak have been appointed as DIGs in CRPF.
Prior to this appointment, IPS officer Annappa E was working as Inspector General of Police (IGP), Civil Defence, West Bengal, whereas IPS Awadhesh Pathak was holding the position of DIG, Armed Police, North Bengal, Siliguri.
IPS Annappa E is a 2005-batch West Bengal cadre IPS officer whereas IPS Awadhesh Pathak is a 2009-batch West Bengal cadre IPS officer,. Now with the new order both the officers have been assigned to Delhi on central deputation for a period of five year.
