Two senior IPS officers have been deputed in the CRPF & CISF as their respective new Director Generals.
Senior IPS officer of year 1993 batch, Praveer Ranjan (AGMUT) has been posted as Special Director General in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).
On the other year 1993 batch senior IPS officer Vitul Kumar (UP) has been deputed as Special DG in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), against existing vacancy. He will be serving till his retirement i.e. 31.08.2028
