A two-day conference on “Road Safety and Safe Mobility : Initiative in India” was inaugurated here today by Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways Shri Vijay Chhibber. Expressing concern over high fatality rate in road accidents in India, he said that the Government has taken several initiatives to improve the road safety standards in the country.
