Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government, in its cabinet meeting on Tuesday, formed a committee to keep the increasing school fees in the state under check. the 9 member committee will suggest ways to curb commercialisation of education and excessive fee levied on students in private schools in the state.
The committee headed by Mr. Jitendra Kumar will comrise principal secretary higher education, secretary basic education, directors secondary education and basic education and special secretary higher education. Retired IAS Om Pathak is private secondary school nominee, while Lucknow University vice chancellor S P Singh will take part as an academic consultant.
NBSB congratulated Mr. Jitendra kumar for being head of this committee and he said thank you to us.
Senior Journalist and Yash Bharati awardee Dr. Yogesh Mishra who has represented India in a seminar organised by UNESCO on E-9 countries in year 2003 is a special invitee in this committee. While talking to NBSB Dr. Mishra said ” State government has given a big responsibilty. This is the vision of deputy CM Dr. Dinesh Sharma ji to eshtablish moral values in education system and he has taken this initiative to overcome all the discrepancies in the education system and to bring back glory of Indian culture and civilisation.
