Collectors’ transfers in Madhya Pradesh

Significant names of IAS officers serving as collectors have come in the list of transfers in 4 districts of Madhya Pradesh. 

In a significant administrative shake-up, the Madhya Pradesh government has transferred nine IAS officers, resulting in key changes to district leadership and departmental responsibilities. As per the latest directive from the General Administration Department, Collectors have been changed in Ujjain, Ashoknagar, Harda, and Vidisha.

Among the notable appointments, Roshan Singh, a 2015 batch IAS officer and former Collector of Vidisha, has been named the new Collector of Ujjain. He replaces Neeraj Kumar Singh (2012 batch), who has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Bhopal.

Key Transfers:

  • Aditya Singh (2014 batch), previously Collector of Harda, is now the new Collector of Ashoknagar.

  • Subhash Kumar Dwivedi (2012 batch), outgoing Ashoknagar Collector, has been posted as Additional Secretary in the General Administration Department.

  • Siddharth Jain (2018 batch), Additional Collector of Bhopal, has been appointed Collector of Harda.

  • Anshul Gupta (2016 batch), currently holding additional charge as Director of Public Relations and Executive Director of MP Madhyam, will now serve as the Collector of Vidisha.

These transfers reflect the state government’s continued focus on enhancing administrative efficiency and improving governance across departments and districts.
