Empowering young minds with ‘Coding for Everyone’ is an initiative of IAS Rishav Gupta.
The visionary move of Dewas District Magistrate, Rishav Gupta has pioneered an innovative initiative in Madhya Pradesh. This is called ‘Coding for Everyone’.
Indian Administrative Services officer, Rishav Gupta has come up with an initiative called ‘Coding for Everyone’ which is a computer programming course of four hundred hours. He has designed it in order to empower students studying in government schools in classes 9 to 12.
Gupta has developed the course in collaboration with Codeyogi. Excellent thing about the course is its language. It is conducted in Hindi, making it accessible to students in all one hundred eighty three schools in the district.
The initiative reaches over 16,000 students under the umbrella of the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP) and is effectively bridging the grand digital divide between rural and urban areas.
