Five new IPS officers, including Purva Agarwal, have been allotted Chhattisgarh Cadre through UPSC CSE 2023.
Following the cadre allocation for successful candidates of the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2023, five new IPS officers have been assigned to Chhattisgarh. Among them, Ms. Purva Agarwal (AIR 189) and Ms. Anusha Pillai (AIR 202) have been allotted their home state cadre, while three others from different states have also been posted to Chhattisgarh under the central government’s allocation policy.
Ms. Anusha Pillai, daughter of Ms. Renu Pillai (IAS, 1991 batch) and Mr. Sanjay Pillai (Retired IPS, 1988 batch), is among those who will now begin her police service career in her native state.
The other three officers allotted to Chhattisgarh from outside the state include:

These newly inducted IPS officers will soon commence their training before taking up key administrative and policing responsibilities across various districts in Chhattisgarh, contributing to the strengthening of the state’s law and order machinery.
