The Centre has appointed S Ramann as Chairman of PFRDA lately.
The Government of India has appointed Sivasubramanian Ramann (IA&AS: 1991) as the Chairman of the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA). His tenure will be for five years or until he reaches the age of 65, whichever comes first.
Ramann is currently serving as the Deputy Comptroller and Auditor General & Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in the Office of the Comptroller & Auditor General of India. He will succeed Dr. Deepak Mohanty, who took charge as PFRDA Chairperson on March 20, 2023.
