Centre appoints two bureaucrats as Joint Secretary

Two bureaucrats have been posted as Joint Secretaries at the Centre.

A year 1993 batch IP&TA&FS officer Ajay Kumar has been designated as Joint Secretary, Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare. He will be serving on his new post from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure upto the date of his superannuation on 31.07.2029, or until further orders, whichever is earlier vice Hariprasad Pudi, IRAS (1994).

On the other hand, a year 2004 batch IAS officer Devesh Deval (MN) has been deputed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Food Processing Industries, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, by upgrading a post of DS/Director in the Ministry to JS level.
