The CBIC has promoted 12 senior IRS officers. Out of the chosen officers 5 have been elevated to Principal Chief Commissioner and 7 to Chief Commissioner.
In a significant leadership reshuffle, the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has announced the promotion of 12 senior IRS (Customs & Indirect Taxes) officers to key positions, reinforcing its commitment to efficient tax administration and governance.
As part of this major revamp, five officers have been elevated to the rank of Principal Chief Commissioner (PCC) or Principal Director General, and seven others have been promoted to the rank of Chief Commissioner (CC) or Director General in various departments.
