IPS officer S Veeresh Prabhu has been designated as Joint Director, CBI.
Lately five CBI officers have received promotion with elevation to Joint Director rank. In a recent notification from the competent authority, names of five CBI officials have been mandated for elevation to Joint Director rank. The officers were due and expecting the promotion which has come to them as a good news now.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has promoted five 2005 batch IPS officers of DIG rank in the CBI to Joint Director rank. The name of these officers are as follows
Year 2005 batch IPS S Veeresh Prabhu is presently working as DIG, CBI. Now with the new order he has been posted as Joint Director, CBI for a tenure of five years i.e. up to 13.10.2027.
Among the five chosen officers the names include, S Veeresh Prabhu (IPS: 2005: MH), Rajiv Ranjan (IPS: 2005: SK), Sumedha Dwivedi (IPS: 2005: HP), Vijayendra Bidari (IPS: 2005: TN), and Sharada Raut (IPS: 2005: MH).
