Four IPS officers are appointed in Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on deputation basis for an initial tenure of time period of four years from the date of assumption of charge. The names of the officers are:

- Braja Kishore Singh, IPS (AGMUT, 2004)
- Rajashekara N, IPS (Nagaland, 2007)
- Pankaj Kamboj, IPS (Jharkhand, 2005).
