This appears to be a sigh of relief for Punjab DGP with the news of the rejection of his plea challenging his appointment.
The CLAT has lately dismissed the petition filed by ex-DGP VK Bhawra against the posting of Yadav to the post of Director General of Police. Top cop Bhawra is a 1987 batch of IPS officer from Punjab cadre.
On the other hand the news has come as a big relief from the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) for 1992 batch of IPS officer from Punjab the incumbant DGP Gaurav Yadav.
