IPS Officers Nayyar Hasnain Khan and Amit Lodha have been assigned key roles in Bihar.
In a major reshuffle within the Bihar police administration, the state government has assigned key positions to senior IPS officers.
Nayyar Hasnain Khan, a 1996-batch IPS officer who was previously awaiting a posting, has been appointed as the Additional Director General (ADG) of the Economic Offences Unit (EOU) in Bihar. Along with this, he has also been entrusted with the additional responsibility of overseeing the ADG-level Special Vigilance Unit.
Meanwhile, Amit Lodha, also a 1996-batch IPS officer, has been promoted from Inspector General (IG) of the State Crime Records Bureau (SCRB) in Patna to the position of ADG of the SCRB. His post has been upgraded to the ADG level as part of the promotion.
These appointments are part of Bihar’s broader strategy to strengthen its law enforcement structure, particularly in combating financial crimes and improving the state’s crime data management system.
