IAS officer B Jothi Nirmalasamy is the new State Election Commissioner in the state of Tamil Nadu.
The Tamil Nadu Government in its latest notification has nominated the senior bureaucrat, B Jothi Nirmalasamy as the new Commissioner of the Tamil Nadu State Election Commission.
Year 2002 batch IAS officer B Jothi Nirmalasamy thus replaces V Palaniswamy as the State Election Commissioner of the state. Nirmalasamy is at present serving as secretary in the Department of Commercial Taxes and Registration, Tamil Nadu.
Nirmalasamy shall occupy her new designation for five years or until she attains sixty five years of age, whichever transpires earlier.
