The 1980 batch IAS officer of Haryana cadre, Ashok Lavasa who was serving as the Secretary in the Ministry of Civil Aviation has been shifted and posted as Secretary to the Ministry of Environment and Forest. Ashok Lavas will succeed V. Rajgopalan, the 1978 batch IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre who is going to superannuate on August 31, 2014.
