IAS officer Ashish Kumar Mishra has been transferred to Rajasthan Cadre following marriage.
Ashish Kumar Mishra, a 2021-batch IAS officer from the Uttarakhand cadre, has been transferred to the Rajasthan cadre following his marriage to Dr. Anshu Priya, a 2022-batch IAS officer currently serving in Rajasthan.
Mishra, a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, completed his degree with first-class honors. He joined the Indian Administrative Service on December 5, 2021, and has been serving in the Uttarakhand cadre since then.
The cadre transfer aligns with the government’s policy of facilitating spousal postings, allowing married IAS officers to serve in the same state. With this move, both officers will now be able to continue their public service careers together in Rajasthan.
