IAS officer Ashima Brar has taken charge of Karnal District. She has extended oversight to key areas.
Addressing tax-related challenges in Karnal, IAS Brar is also going to assess areas viz. health, education, and social sectors.
The Government of Haryana, in a significant administrative move, has mandated Ashima Brar for the responsibility to oversee Karnal district in addition to her current responsibilities.
A year 2004 batch IAS officer Ashima Brara is currently serving as Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister and Director General, Secretary of Social Justice Empowerment, Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes, and Antyodaya (SEWA) Department.
