Arvind Mayaram who is serving as Finance Secretary has been selected to head the newly created BRICS development bank, headquartered in Shanghai, China. Arvind Mayaram has also done a stint in the Asian Development Bank as Alternative Governor for India. He has been director in the Reserve Bank of India and ONGC (Videsh).
