IAS officer Abhishek Singh’s resignation has been approved. He was awaiting the approval for last four months.
The bureaucracy of Uttar Pradesh has accepted the resignation of Indian Administrative Services officer Abhishek Singh following the approval from the Central Government. IAS Singh had rendered his resignation last year in the month of October 2023 to the Appointments and Personnel Department.
Speculations over the resignation of the officer reveal that Abhishek Singh might opt for joining politics which he was longing for a long time. He has also acted in films and a pretty long absence caused his suspension from Disciplinary Committee. After getting suspended in February 2023, Abhishek Singh had made up his mind for the resignation. Durga Shakti Nagpal, , his wife, is currently serving as the Collector of Banda, Uttar Pradesh.
